Cancelling a Transfer

Need to stop a transfer? Here's what you can do.

Can You Cancel?

It depends on the transfer status:

| Processing | ⚠️ Maybe |

| In Transit | ❌ No |

| Delivered | ❌ No |

How to Cancel

If your transfer is still pending:

1. Go to Transactions
2. Find the transfer
3. Click Cancel Transfer
4. Confirm cancellation

Your money will be refunded to your wallet immediately.

Transfers That Can't Be Cancelled

Once a transfer enters "Processing" or "In Transit," cancellation isn't guaranteed because:

• The bank may have already received it
• The transfer is in the banking network
• Funds may have arrived

What You Can Do

1. Try to cancel anyway - We'll attempt to stop it
2. Contact the recipient - Ask them to return the funds
3. Contact support - We can try to recall the transfer

Instant ClapPay Transfers

Transfers between ClapPay users are instant and cannot be cancelled. If you sent to the wrong person:

1. Contact the recipient
2. Ask them to send the money back
3. Contact support if they're unresponsive

Automatic Cancellation

Transfers may be automatically cancelled if:

• Recipient details are invalid
• Your account has insufficient funds
• Security check fails

You'll be notified and refunded if this happens.

Refund Timing
