Understanding the Dashboard
Your ClapPay dashboard is your home base. Here's a tour of what you'll find and how to use it.
Dashboard Overview
When you log in, you'll see your main dashboard with these key areas:
Balance Overview
At the top, you'll see:
- Total Balance: All your money across all currencies
- Available Balance: Money you can spend or send right now
- Pending: Money that's on its way
Quick Actions
The buttons at the top let you quickly:
- Add Money: Fund your wallet
- Send Money: Transfer to anyone
- Request: Ask someone to pay you
- More: Access additional features
Recent Activity
This shows your latest transactions:
- Money sent and received
- Payments made
- Deposits and withdrawals
Click any transaction to see full details.
Navigation Menu
On Desktop (Left Sidebar)
- Home: Your dashboard overview
- Wallet: View and manage your balances
- Send: Transfer money to others
- Cards: Manage virtual and physical cards
- Transactions: Full transaction history
- Settings: Account preferences
On Mobile (Bottom Navigation)
The same features are available through icons at the bottom of your screen.
Key Dashboard Features
Currency Switching
If you have multiple currencies, use the dropdown to switch between them.
Notifications
The bell icon shows alerts about:
- Incoming payments
- Completed transfers
- Security updates
- Special offers
Search
Use the search bar to find:
- Past transactions
- Contacts
- Help articles
Customizing Your Dashboard
You can personalize your experience:
- Go to Settings → Preferences
- Choose your default currency
- Set your preferred date format
- Enable or disable dashboard widgets
Dashboard Tips
- Pin favorites: Star frequent contacts for quick access
- Filter transactions: Sort by date, amount, or type
- Export data: Download transaction history as CSV
- Dark mode: Toggle in Settings for easier viewing
