Using Your Card at ATMs
Withdraw cash from ATMs worldwide with your ClapPay physical card.
How to Withdraw
- Insert your card or tap (if contactless supported)
- Select your language
- Enter your 4-digit PIN
- Select Withdrawal
- Choose the amount
- Take your cash and card

ATM Operator Fees
The ATM owner may charge their own fee. This is displayed before you confirm.
ATM Limits

Adjust limits in Cards → Settings → ATM Limits.
Withdrawing Abroad
When withdrawing in a foreign country:
- You may be asked to choose the currency
- Always choose local currency
- Let ClapPay do the conversion (better rates)
- Avoid "dynamic currency conversion" by the ATM
Currency Conversion
If withdrawing in a different currency:
- We convert at the mid-market rate + 0.5%
- Check the rate in the app before withdrawing
ATM Safety Tips
- Use ATMs in well-lit, busy areas
- Cover the keypad when entering your PIN
- Be aware of your surroundings
- Take your card immediately after the transaction
- Check that your card is the one returned
Troubleshooting
Card not working?
- Ensure the card isn't frozen
- Check your ATM limits
- Verify you're entering the correct PIN
- Try a different ATM
Didn't receive cash?
- Keep your receipt
- Note the ATM location and time
- Contact support immediately
- We'll investigate and refund if needed
