Easily convert between currencies in your ClapPay wallet.

How to Convert Currency

Step 1: Open Currency Conversion

Go to Wallet → Convert

Step 2: Select Currencies

• From: The currency you want to convert
• To: The currency you want to receive

Step 3: Enter Amount

Type the amount you want to convert. You'll see:

• The converted amount you'll receive
• The exchange rate
• Any fees

Step 4: Review and Confirm

Check the details and click Convert to complete.

Exchange Rates

We use the mid-market rate (the real exchange rate) plus a small markup:

The rate you see is the rate you get. No hidden fees.

How to Get the Best Rate

• Convert larger amounts (same percentage, better value)
• Compare rates before converting
• Set up rate alerts for your target rate

Automatic Conversion

We can automatically convert incoming payments:

1. Go to Settings → Currency
2. Enable Auto-convert
3. Choose your preferred currency
4. All incoming money converts automatically

Rate Alerts

Get notified when rates hit your target:

1. Go to Wallet → Convert
2. Click Set Alert
3. Choose currency pair
4. Enter your target rate
5. We'll notify you when the rate is reached

Conversion Limits

Why Rates Change

Exchange rates fluctuate based on:

• Market supply and demand
• Economic news
• Global events

Rates update every few seconds during market hours.
