PIN Management

Your PIN keeps your card secure. Here's how to manage it.

Setting Your PIN

When you activate a new card, you'll set a 4-digit PIN.

Choose a Good PIN

Do:

• Pick something memorable to you
• Use a unique PIN for ClapPay

Don't:

• Use 1234 or 0000
• Use your birth year
• Use the same PIN as other cards

Changing Your PIN

Change your PIN anytime:

1. Go to Cards
2. Select your card
3. Tap Settings → Change PIN
4. Enter your current PIN
5. Enter your new PIN twice
6. Done!

Your new PIN works immediately.

Forgot Your PIN?

If you can't remember your PIN:

1. Go to Cards
2. Select your card
3. Tap Settings → Reset PIN
4. Verify your identity (Face ID, fingerprint, or password)
5. Create a new PIN

PIN Blocked?

After 3 wrong PIN attempts, your card may be blocked.

To Unblock

1. Go to Cards
2. Select the blocked card
3. Tap Unblock PIN
4. Verify your identity
5. Set a new PIN

Viewing Your PIN

If you've forgotten your PIN and need a reminder:

1. Go to Cards
2. Select your card
3. Tap Show PIN
4. Verify your identity
5. Your PIN displays briefly

Note: For security, we recommend changing your PIN if you've had to view it.

Security Tips

• Never share your PIN with anyone
• Cover the keypad at ATMs and stores
• Don't write your PIN down
• Change your PIN if you think it's been compromised
