Your ClapPay card comes with multiple security features to protect your money.
Built-In Protection
Real-Time Alerts
Get instant notifications for:
- Every transaction
- Declined payments
- ATM withdrawals
- Online purchases
Enable in Settings → Notifications → Card Alerts.
Instant Freeze
Temporarily freeze your card if:
- You misplace it
- See suspicious activity
- Want to prevent spending
Freeze/unfreeze instantly in the app.
3D Secure
Online payments are protected by 3D Secure:
- Extra verification for online purchases
- Confirm payments in the app
- Reduces fraud risk
Fraud Monitoring
Our systems watch for suspicious activity:
- Unusual purchase patterns
- Transactions in unexpected locations
- Multiple rapid transactions
We may block suspicious transactions and alert you.
Security Controls
Spending Limits
Set limits on:
- Daily spending
- ATM withdrawals
- Online transactions
- Single purchase amount
Go to Cards → Settings → Limits.
Merchant Controls
Block or allow:
- Online purchases
- International transactions
- ATM withdrawals
- Specific merchant types (gambling, etc.)
PIN Security
- Never share your PIN
- Cover the keypad when entering
- Change your PIN if compromised
If Something Goes Wrong
Suspicious Transaction?
- Freeze your card immediately
- Review the transaction
- Report unauthorized activity
- We'll investigate and refund if fraudulent
Card Lost or Stolen?
- Freeze the card
- Report it in the app or call support
- Order a replacement
- Previous card is permanently disabled
