Reporting a Lost or Stolen Card

If your ClapPay card is lost or stolen, act quickly to protect your money.

Immediate Steps

Step 1: Freeze Your Card

Do this right away to prevent unauthorized use:

  1. Open the ClapPay app
  2. Go to Cards
  3. Toggle Freeze Card ON

Step 2: Report the Card

  1. In Cards, select the frozen card
  2. Tap Report Lost/Stolen
  3. Choose Lost or Stolen
  4. Confirm the report

Your card will be permanently cancelled.

Step 3: Order a Replacement

After reporting:

  1. You'll be prompted to order a new card
  2. Confirm your shipping address
  3. New card arrives in 5-14 days

What Happens When You Report

  • Old card is permanently disabled
  • All future transactions are blocked
  • New card has a new number
  • You'll receive a replacement

Check for Unauthorized Transactions

Review your recent transactions:

  1. Go to Transactions
  2. Look for anything you didn't make
  3. Report unauthorized transactions

We'll investigate and refund fraudulent charges.

Updating Subscriptions

Your new card will have a different number. Update:

  • Streaming services
  • Subscription services
  • Saved payment methods on shopping sites
