Activating Your Card

Your new ClapPay card needs to be activated before you can use it.

How to Activate

In the App (Recommended)

1. Open the ClapPay app
2. Go to Cards
3. Select your new card (shows as "Not Activated")
4. Tap Activate Card
5. Enter the last 4 digits of your card number
6. Set your PIN
7. Done! Your card is ready to use

On the Website

1. Log in at clappay.com
2. Go to Cards
3. Select your new card
4. Click Activate
5. Enter the last 4 digits
6. Set your PIN

Setting Your PIN

During activation, you'll create a 4-digit PIN. Choose a PIN that:

• Is easy for you to remember
• Isn't obvious (not 1234, your birth year, etc.)
• You haven't used elsewhere

You can change your PIN anytime in Cards → Settings → Change PIN.

After Activation

Your card is now ready for:

• In-store purchases (chip, swipe, or tap)
• Online shopping
• ATM withdrawals
• Apple Pay / Google Pay

Can't Activate?

Card not appearing?

• Make sure you're logged into the right account
• Wait a few minutes and refresh
• Contact support if the issue persists

Activation failed?

• Double-check the last 4 digits
• Ensure you're entering your new card's number
• Try again or contact support
