Updating Your Profile Information

Keep your ClapPay profile up to date. Here's how to change your personal details.

What You Can Update

• Display name
• Profile photo
• Phone number
• Address
• Date of birth (requires verification)
• Legal name (requires verification)

How to Update Your Profile

Step 1: Open Settings

Click your profile picture in the top right corner, then select Settings.

Step 2: Go to Profile

Click Profile in the settings menu.

Step 3: Make Your Changes

Click the field you want to edit and enter the new information.

Step 4: Save

Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

Changing Your Profile Photo

1. Go to Settings → Profile
2. Click the camera icon on your current photo
3. Choose Upload Photo or Take Photo
4. Adjust the crop if needed
5. Click Save

Updating Your Phone Number

Your phone number is used for security and notifications:

1. Go to Settings → Profile
2. Click Edit next to your phone number
3. Enter your new phone number
4. Verify with a code sent via SMS
5. Your number is updated

Changing Your Legal Name

If your legal name has changed (marriage, legal name change, etc.):

1. Go to Settings → Profile
2. Click Request Name Change
3. Upload supporting documents (ID, marriage certificate, etc.)
4. We'll review and update within 2-3 business days

Note: Your legal name must match your identification documents.

Updating Your Address

1. Go to Settings → Profile
2. Click Edit next to your address
3. Enter your new address
4. Click Save

If you're verified, you may need to provide proof of your new address.
