Proration
Proration means adjusting charges when a customer changes plans in the middle of a billing period.
Simple Example
If a customer upgrades halfway through the month:
- they may pay a partial amount for the rest of the month
If they downgrade:
- they may get a credit for the remaining time

Before confirming a plan change, review the confirmation screen for:
- immediate charge
- credits
- next billing date
