Managing Trusted Devices

Control which devices are logged into your ClapPay account.

Viewing Your Devices

  1. Go to SettingsSecurityDevices
  2. See all devices with access:
  • Device name and type
  • Location (approximate)
  • Last active
  • Current session

Device Information Shown

For each device:

  • Name: iPhone 14 Pro, Chrome on Windows, etc.
  • Location: City and country
  • Last active: When it was last used
  • This device: Marked if you're currently on it

Removing a Device

To log out a device:

  1. Find the device in the list
  2. Click Remove or the X icon
  3. Confirm

That device is immediately logged out and must re-authenticate.

Log Out All Devices

For security emergencies:

  1. Click Log Out All Devices
  2. Enter your password
  3. Confirm

All devices (including current) are logged out. You'll need to log back in.

When to Remove Devices

Remove devices if:

  • You don't recognize them
  • You lost a device
  • You sold or gave away a device
  • Someone else used your account
  • You logged in on a public computer

Trusted vs. New Devices

Trusted Devices

Devices you've previously verified:

  • May skip 2FA on login
  • Faster access
  • Still require password

New Devices

First time logging in:

  • Always require 2FA
  • May trigger extra verification
  • Email notification sent

Device Notifications

Get alerts for new logins:

  1. Go to SettingsNotifications
  2. Enable Login Alerts
  3. Choose: Push, email, or both
