Use terminals and card readers to accept in-person payments.
Before You Start
- Make sure your ClapPay account is verified (if required)
- Make sure payments are enabled in your settings
Basic Setup Steps
- Go to Terminal (or Hardware) in your dashboard
- Add a device (pair it or register it)
- Update device software if prompted
- Run a test payment
Common Issues
Device won’t connect
- Turn Bluetooth on (if required)
- Restart the device
- Keep it close to your phone/tablet
Payments fail at checkout
- Check internet connection
- Confirm payment methods are enabled
- Check for temporary processor issues
