Getting a Terminal

1. Go to Hardware in the dashboard
2. Browse terminal options
3. Select quantity and model
4. Complete purchase
5. Ships within 3-5 days

Setting Up Your Terminal

ClapPay Reader

1. Download ClapPay app on your device
2. Turn on the reader
3. Open app → Hardware → Connect
4. Follow pairing instructions

ClapPay Terminal

1. Power on the terminal
2. Connect to WiFi
3. Enter activation code (from dashboard)
4. Terminal syncs automatically

Accepting Payments

Basic Payment

1. Enter amount (or select items)
2. Hand terminal to customer
3. Customer taps, inserts, or swipes
4. Wait for approval
5. Provide receipt (print or digital)

Accept in-person:

Features

Tipping

Enable tipping at checkout:

1. Go to Settings → Terminal
2. Toggle Tipping ON
3. Set suggested percentages

Receipts

Options:

• Print receipt
• Email receipt
• Text receipt
• No receipt

Offline Mode

Process payments even without internet:

• Transactions queue locally
• Sync when back online
• Subject to limits

Managing Terminals

View all terminals in Hardware:

• Battery status
• Last synced
• Software version
• Rename or deactivate
