Setting Up Face ID (iPhone)

Requirements

• iPhone X or newer
• Face ID set up in iOS settings

Enable in ClapPay

1. Open ClapPay app
2. Go to Settings → Security
3. Toggle Face ID ON
4. Confirm with Face ID scan
5. Done!

Setting Up Touch ID (iPhone)

Requirements

• iPhone with Touch ID (5S - 8, SE)
• Fingerprint registered in iOS

Enable in ClapPay

1. Open ClapPay app
2. Go to Settings → Security
3. Toggle Touch ID ON
4. Confirm with fingerprint
5. Done!

Setting Up Fingerprint (Android)

Requirements

• Android device with fingerprint sensor
• Fingerprint registered in Android settings

Enable in ClapPay

1. Open ClapPay app
2. Go to Settings → Security
3. Toggle Fingerprint ON
4. Confirm with fingerprint
5. Done!

What Biometrics Unlock

• App login
• Viewing sensitive information
• Confirming transactions
• Changing settings

When You Still Need Password

• First login on new device
• After 24 hours of inactivity
• Biometric fails multiple times
• Changing security settings

Disabling Biometrics

1. Go to Settings → Security
2. Toggle biometric option OFF
3. Enter password to confirm

Troubleshooting

Biometric Not Working

• Clean sensor/camera
• Re-register in device settings
• Restart the app
• Restart your device

Not Seeing Option

• Device may not support biometrics
• Enable in device settings first
• Update to latest app version
