What Is a Virtual Card?
A virtual card is a digital payment card that works online. It has:
- A card number
- Expiration date
- CVV code
- Works anywhere Visa/Mastercard is accepted online
Requirements
To get a virtual card, you need:
- A verified ClapPay account
- Sufficient balance in your wallet (for the spending limit)
How to Get Your Virtual Card
Step 1: Go to Cards
Open Cards from the main menu.
Step 2: Click "Get New Card"
Select Virtual Card.
Step 3: Choose Your Currency
Select the currency for your card:
- USD, EUR, GBP, and more available
- Card spends from that currency balance
Step 4: Set Spending Limit (Optional)
You can set a spending limit for extra control.
Step 5: Create Card
Click Create Card. Your virtual card is ready instantly!
Viewing Your Card Details
To see your card number and CVV:
- Go to Cards
- Select your virtual card
- Tap Show Details
- Authenticate (Face ID, fingerprint, or password)
- View and copy your card details
Using Your Virtual Card
Use it for:
- Online shopping
- Subscriptions (Netflix, Spotify, etc.)
- In-app purchases
- Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
Just enter the card details at checkout like any other card.
