• Market order: buys/sells at the best available price
• Limit order: buys/sells only at a price you set (or better)

Order Status

You might see:

• Pending
• Filled
• Partially filled
• Canceled

Tips

• Market orders can fill quickly but price may vary
• Limit orders give more control but may not fill
