Sending Cryptocurrency
Send crypto to any compatible wallet address.
Before You Send
⚠️ Important:
- Double-check the address
- Verify you're using the correct network
- Crypto sent to wrong address cannot be recovered
How to Send Crypto
Step 1: Select Coin
Go to Crypto and choose the coin to send.
Step 2: Click Send
Tap Send on the coin details page.
Step 3: Enter Address
Enter the recipient's wallet address:
- Paste from clipboard
- Scan QR code
- Select from address book
Step 4: Choose Network
Select the correct network:
- BTC: Bitcoin network
- ETH: Ethereum or Layer 2
- Check recipient's requirements
Critical: Using wrong network = lost funds.
Step 5: Enter Amount
Enter how much to send:
- In crypto (e.g., 0.1 BTC)
- Maximum available shown
Step 6: Review
Check all details:
- Recipient address
- Network
- Amount
- Network fee
- Total deducted
Step 7: Confirm
Verify with 2FA, then tap Send.
Network Fees
Blockchain networks charge fees:

Fees vary based on network congestion.
ClapPay doesn't add extra fees for sending.
Transaction Tracking
After sending:
- Get transaction ID (txid)
- Track on blockchain explorer
- Status: Pending → Confirmed
Confirmation times:
- Bitcoin: 10-60 minutes
- Ethereum: 1-5 minutes
- Solana: Seconds
