Receiving Cryptocurrency
Get crypto sent to your ClapPay wallet.
Getting Your Wallet Address
Step 1: Select Coin
Go to Crypto and choose the cryptocurrency.
Step 2: Click Receive
Tap Receive on the coin details page.
Step 3: Choose Network
Select the network to receive on:
- Bitcoin: Bitcoin network only
- ETH: Ethereum, or Layer 2s
- Check what sender is using
Step 4: Get Address
You'll see:
- Your wallet address
- QR code
- Copy button
Step 5: Share Address
Share with the sender:
- Copy and paste
- Show QR code
- Share via message
Important Notes
⚠️ Critical:
- Use correct network
- BTC → Bitcoin address
- ETH → Ethereum address
- Wrong network = lost funds
- Don't modify address
- Copy exactly
- No extra spaces
- No missing characters
- Minimum deposits
- Some coins have minimums
- Below minimum may be lost
Tracking Incoming Transactions
After someone sends:
- Go to Crypto → Activity
- See pending deposits
- Status updates automatically
Deposits show after network confirmations.
Confirmation Times

Address Types
Static Addresses
Your address stays the same. Safe to reuse.
New Addresses
You can generate new addresses:
- All addresses stay valid
- Some prefer fresh for privacy
- Funds go to same balance
Deposit Fees
Receiving crypto is free.
You don't pay network fees to receive—the sender does.
