Sharing Your Payment Link

Your payment link makes it easy for anyone to pay you, even if they don't have ClapPay.

What Is a Payment Link?

It's a personalized URL that leads to your payment page:

• Example: pay.clappay.com/johndoe

When someone clicks it, they can pay you instantly using:

• Credit or debit card
• Bank transfer
• Their ClapPay account

Finding Your Payment Link

1. Go to Receive
2. Click Payment Link
3. Copy your unique link

Customizing Your Link

Set Your Username

Choose a memorable username:

1. Go to Settings → Profile
2. Under Username, enter your preferred name
3. Your link becomes: pay.clappay.com/[username]

Pre-Fill Amount

Add a specific amount to your link:

pay.clappay.com/yourname?amount=50

Add a Note

Include a description:

pay.clappay.com/yourname?amount=50&note=Dinner

Sharing Your Link

Copy and Paste

Click Copy and paste into:

• Text messages
• Emails
• Social media bios
• WhatsApp

Direct Sharing

Click Share to open sharing options:

• Email
• Messages
• Social apps
• More

Print QR Code

Generate a QR code for your link:

1. Click QR Code
2. Print or download
3. Use at events, on business cards, etc.

Best Uses

• Freelancers: Put in your email signature
• Social media: Add to your bio
• Events: Share in group chats
• Small business: Print on receipts or signs

Fees

Receiving via payment link:

• From ClapPay users: Free
• From cards: 2.9% + $0.30
• From bank: Free
