Crypto Fees
Crypto can have a few different kinds of fees.
1) Trading Fees (Buy/Sell)
When you buy or sell crypto, ClapPay may charge:
- a trading fee
- and/or a spread (the difference between buy and sell prices)
You’ll always see the final amount before you confirm.
2) Network Fees (Send)
When you send crypto on-chain, the blockchain charges a network fee.
This fee:
- is paid to the network validators/miners
- changes based on network congestion
- is usually not controlled by ClapPay
3) Receiving Fees
Receiving crypto is usually free, but the sender may pay a network fee.
